This outstanding cheyenne artist was born in 1912 near darlington agency, oklahoma, departed in 1996. In 1941 he received a wpa-pwa mural commission for the okemah, oklahoma post office. His artwork trvaeled to many well known art expositions and museums.
One of his teachers was acee blue eagle. Here is a most exceptional watercolor of dancer which is approx. Frame size 19.75 x 23.75. 1.25 thick.Has brown wood beveled frame design, mattnig in rust, orange and blue gray that enhances the water color original and wood frame. Water color raea approx. 8 x 12, outstandnig colors of rust, black, orange, white, blue and gray to name a few. Some shadows and glares may appear from otudoor photographing, not on original.
